Northern Colorado Writers 2010 Conference I'll be delivering the evening keynote speech on Friday, and two craft sessions on Saturday. This is an amazing writing conference, for writers of all genres and ages. For more information, or to register, go to the Northern Colorado Writers Homepage.

Colorado Teen Literature Conference My good friend, Laura Resau and I, along with Amy Efaw will be talking about writing and answering questions on the author panel. Through the Writing Glass Author Carnival The Bas Bleu Theater and local authors Victoria Hanley, Laura Resau, Theresa Funk, and myself are teaming up to put on a writer's carnival involving readings from our new books, book signing, writing activities, and games. Drop by Bas Bleu Theatre anytime in the afternoon to enjoy the carnival.

Douglas County Libraries Writers Conference I'll be delivering the keynote address at the end of the day. This is the conference formally known as the Castle Rock Writers Conference, and as all those who attended last year know, it's an outstanding conference for writers (teen and adult) of any genre. This year it's going to be taking place from 8:30-5:00 at the Castle View High School in Castle Rock. If you're a writer or someone interested in writing, I highly recommend checking out this conference (Google Douglas County Libraries Writers Conference to register).

Horace Mann Middle School Visit I'll be visiting Mann Middle School for the whole day, working with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. If you're a parent of a Mann student, please feel free to attend.

Mt. Carbon Elementary School Visit I'll be visiting Mt. Carbon for the whole day. If you're a parent of a Mt. Carbon student, please feel free to attend.

Young Adult Literature Conference This conference rocks. Please say hi to me if you're there. I'll be on a Y.A. author panel, and doing a session on teaching poetry to middle and high school students.

Colorado State University Reading Series Deanna Ludwin, an outstanding poet and amazing human being, and I are going to be giving a reading together as part of the Creative Writing Reading Series. Details to come.

My Word Reading Series. I'll be giving a reading along two other extremely brilliant, fun, (and best-selling) young adult authors, Lauren Myracle, and Laura Resau. The shindig starts at 7:00. Harmony Library Community Events room.

CCIRA Conference. That's the Colorado Council International Reading Association. I'm going to be a featured author, giving two author presentations and a session on creative writing games. If you're a teacher, I hope to see you there.

Mead Middle School Author Visit Event! The cool teachers of Mead, home of the Bulldogs, invited me out to run fiction workshops with their 7th and 8th graders. I'll be there all morning. If you're a parent of a Mead student, feel free to attend.
